NickelCity.NET was originally a project founded in late 1999 to use cooperation between local print media sources to compete directly with the Buffalo News site Buffalo.Com. Few publications rose to the challenge, the project was closed at the end of 2000. For anyone who may have participated, please note that the Survey Contest was cancelled due to lack of response.
Today, NickelCity.NET is used by Kentropolis Internet Community as a local-flavor point of content, for single-page local web pages, résumés, and email addresses. You may enter discussion about local politics, sports, culture, and anything else of interest by visiting the Kentropolis Forums.
