Final Farewells Offered to Riverside Post 1010

May 2000: Riverside American Legion Post 1010 is closing their doors after being a part of the community for over 71 years.
It has been a tradition for many years to put a picture of the commander up on the walls at the post. Now it is time to remove the pictures.
The post has lost contact over the years of many of the families and past commanders and so it has become hard to find the families to return the pictures.
If you know of the families of these commanders, please call past commander Charlotte E. Newman at 877-7902 to make arrangements for the families to pick-up the pictures.
Some of the members are going to keep their charter and meet at a place not yet determined.
The post would like to thank the Review for helping us in this matter. They would like to also thank the community for all their years of support and help. God Bless all of you.
