Memorial Day Observance

North Buffalo Rocket / West Side TimesStudents from Nardin Academy's Montessori and Elementary classes walked from the school's Cleveland Avenue Location to Forest Lawn Cemetery to observe Memorial Day Ceremonies on Thursday, May 25, 2000. Tom Rabits, OSFS, gave an opening prayer for the ceremony. Military Forces Honor Guard Western Regional Alpha Company First of 108th Infantry Battalion 27th Brigade presented the school a flag with the help of two students Gina Cellino and Christopher Winter. A contingent from American Legion Adam Plewacki Post 799 was also on hand to issue a 21 Gun Salute.
